it is not a scam as I went there and graduated in 1994. Its nationally accredited and also you can get a hold of someone so do not sweat it.

Yeah and good luck getting records showing you graduated high school.

I have attended a traditional college for 3 years and decided to do medical coding and billing through penn foster and I love it, I have learned more in their program then I did all 3 years at traditional college. I have never had an issue with their customer service they have always been helpful and answered my concerns. I am almost done with my program and I am going to continue on with a degree program because they have an agreement with my college as well to take credit transfer.

Just consider yourself lucky that you weren't enrolled in their Autocad courses. Their curriculum is sorely lacking any mention of most of the advances in Cad technology since the late 90s.

Not to worry though, the gross inaccuracies in what they do teach, and conspicuous absence of instructor feedback through their prescribed channels will quickly eclipse those flagrant shortcomings. If you are lucky, you too will be advised to address any questions or issues to CADTutor Forum, where people really do know their subject matter and are eager to help.

The bad news? CADTutor forum is free and open 24/7.

I am taking a course at Penn Foster. For no reason the director Russell Davis when I called to settle an issue with him says that he will cancel my course!

This was a very unprofession and unethical response especially from a school director!

The issue was not a serious cause that would give him the reason to cancel out a course! So because I felt this was an injustice I had filed a report against this issue to the BBB of Scranton, PA.

I received my high school diploma through Penn Foster back in the early 90's when it was known as International Correspondence School and my diploma reads ICS/Newport Pacific High School. I earned a 4.0 GPA and got into a prestigious private Catholic university here in Cincinnati.

I am now in the process of a career change due to a disability and am going into accounting. I am enrolled in Penn Foster's A.S. in Accounting degree and because I already had most of the credits for the degree my tuition was very low and I have contacted the university I will be attending for the B.S. in Forensic Accounting and they have an agreement with Penn Foster to accept their credits.

I am sorry to here that you are having problems, but to say Penn Foster is a scam is ridiculous. Please be more careful when you make accusations.

Hi Danielle,I'm sorry to hear about your trouble, but this can certainly be straightened out. You can call student services with 1-88*-***-****, or message us with your student information on Facebook (which I believe we have responded to) and we can work this out.

Because each student is on a different learning level, it's important that we make sure everyone is on the same page with the information our instructors deliver - which sometimes means having to do reiterate material some students already know. We hope that our history and success rate are enough to prove that we are certainly not a scam! You can view our credentials on our official site, or check out any of our social networks or our student community to see students who have bettered their lives through a Penn Foster education.

So again, please contact student services at 1-88*-***-**** by the end of today or the first thing tomorrow morning and this issue can be resolved. Thank you!
