When I first joined Penn Foster they ran my check while still on the phone with me! The man told me the check went through and the first payment had been made, then i get a piece of mail saying that I need to make my first payment a week later (after I already made my first payment) they kicked me out of my classes online and I told them I no longer want to be a student with them, they said okay and no more charges would be made on my account.

Guess how much they say I owe them now!! $907.00!! I'm not paying that and I NEED the number to get ahold of these crooks! I want this off of my credit score because I told them I no longer wanted to be a student and they said they took me off the billing list.

I guess they lied, now I am heated because they made my credit score look bad. I would never suggest this school to anyone even if it was the last school on planet earth or any planet for that matter!

Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.

Monetary Loss: $907.

Preferred solution: Take away this debt I didn't create. I was told my account was cancelled when I wanted it cancelled. The representative(It was a guy didnt get his name) lied to me. .

If you waited 6 days to stop doing the program then you are required to pay the full amount. If you stop doing the program before the 6th day then you would have got a full refund of your money.

But since you waited you have to pay. I've been enrolled with them for 6 almost 7 months now and haven't had any types of problems.
